I have heard of people modeling things in high end 3D apps like Maya and 3DS Max and selling the models online. Where can I find a place to sell my models as freelance? I work with Blender.
What things can you do with Autodesk Maya besides. Like what can you do besides making a 3d image
i want to know what would be the best college to go and learn 3d computer animation, i want to be making movies like shrek or like toy story ( i live in tx so if its close to here, it would be nice) i have some experience with maya; 3d studio max; photoshop; illustrator…. soooo yeah please and thank you
how good would i have to get in Autodesk Maya 3D program to land a job using the software with a reputable company such as dreamworks or Pixar? ive been using it for about a month and i modeled and acuratly lit my room and i made a BMW 7 Series thats really really good. i dont know how to animate yet but i should be pretty profeciant in it by like the next 2 months. i spend about 4 hours a day learning and using maya.
Using Maya,lightwave,poser,3ds max etc….
Should I model in Maya and animate in Max or vice versa? Or should I both model and animate in one or the other? I only ask because I notice that Autodesk developed both the programs and am wondering why. I assume they are used for different things but I don’t know. Thanks!

lot of institute gives programs online for 3d animations and visual effects like GNOMON , DEVRY, ART INSTITUITE ONLINE , WESTWOOD but which is the best if someone interested in joining online programs ,
i love working with programs like maya , 3d max, lightwave, and really want to learn about motion capturing deeply but i dont know what collage or program i choose to learn about all 3d animations and visual effects

hey i want to get into 3d stuff like in maya or 3ds max but i don’t know which one to start out with. i know there are several. which one’s best for a beginner to start out with, and which one will give the best results??? don’t worry about the price. oh and how do i learn to use it?
